Welcome to Dinky Daze! Our little riverside gem. Dinky Daze can be booked as a one-bedroom property **or** have the option of booking “The Snug” – a small annex to the side of the main building featuring twin beds and a shower room with WC.

This cosy riverside holiday lodge hideaway is full of charm and character – ideal for couples or solo adventurers looking to slow down and soak up the beauty of the Broads, whilst friends or families with older children will love “The Snug” add on to bunk down in. 

Tucked right on the banks of the River Yare, this cosy retreat has everything you need for a peaceful break.

PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU ADD THE CORRECT NUMBER OF GUESTS WHEN RESERVING:

1-2 GUESTS = MAIN BUILDING ONLY

3-4 GUESTS = MAIN BUILDING PLUS THE SNUG

Please note: The Snug can only be reserved for the full duration of the main building stay – there is no reduction for shorter stays.

Inside the main property, you will find an open-plan kitchen, diner and lounge, complete with a wood burner to keep things toasty on cooler days. The double bedroom is bright and comfy and there’s a modern bathroom with a shower, toilet, and hand basin.

Tea towels, J cloth, sponge, washing up liquid, antibacterial surface spray, hand wash and a starter kitchen roll are provided.

Dining area with dining table and views out to the decking and river.

Lounge area with comfortable seating and Freeview TV. Fire stick provided for you to log into your own streaming services.

Enjoy the fantastic river views from the open plan living space through large windows and french doors leading to the private riverside decking, perfect for watching the wildlife and boats go by.

The Snug – access only if 3/4 guests are confirmed. Not sold separately.

Outside Space

Step out onto your private decking and let the river views work their magic. Whether it’s your morning coffee watching the wildlife, a glass of wine at sunset, or simply watching the boats drift past, you’ll feel a world away. There’s even a private mooring, perfect for bringing your own boat or hiring one locally to explore the waterways.

Fishing is available just steps away in fishing season, so don’t forget your rod license! Fishing lessons on the riverside decking at the property can be booked by visiting Broads Fishing Instruction.

Private quay headed mooring at the end of the decking. Use of slipway at our private marina on request. Please advise if you are bringing a boat.

Fishing only permitted in open season. A rod license is required.
