Boating on The Broads

Bringing your own boat, canoes, kayaks or paddleboards...

Our holiday lodges are a perfect choice for any mariners out there, each having private quay headed moorings for your own or hired boat at the end of the garden or decking.

In addition, our quiet marina features a free slipway which is available to all of our holiday lodge guests*.

We love to see our guests enjoying our waterside location so bring your own kayaks, paddleboards, canoes and RIBs and launch from your lodge or from the slipway at the marina.

Please bear in mind that the river Yare and it’s water which flows into the marina is tidal.

*Please contact us to ensure our slipway is adequate for your own boat launch requirements. Alternative arrangements can be made at Tingdene, just a stroll away – fees apply.

Please ensure you check the links in the important information section below for exploring the Broads safely and toll fees.
