About us & General Information
A warm welcome to the Norfolk Broads...
Out on the Riverside…
River View – Where it all began for us! In early 2022 we started our collection of waters edge holiday lodges. With such a beautiful setting overlooking the River Yare, River View was perfect! After a well needed face lift inside and out, she has proved very popular with our guests with many repeat bookings. River View features 2 bedrooms, bathroom with large walk in shower, open plan full kitchen/ diner / lounge, a lovely terrace, garden and quay headed moorings for your own boat. Fishing is available (in season, rod license required) from the bottom of the garden. The river views and sunsets are just stunning.
Nature’s Nook was brand new for us from April 2023 and also boasts beautiful views of the River Yare, not to mention that sunset! This timber interior, 2 bedroomed holiday lodge has everything you need for a cosy self catering stay beside the river. Fishing is available (in season, rod license required) from the decking and you can moor your own boat right outside. Watch all the river activity from your open plan lounge or terrace and relax! or maybe bring your own kayak or paddleboard and venture out into the broads!
Ferry Lodge Introducing our BRAND NEW 3 BEDROOM holiday lodge! Currently in progress and due to complete by mid December 2023. Sleeping up to 7 with a king en-suite, double and bunk bed with single over double bed. Separate bathroom and large open plan full kitchen / diner / lounge, Ferry Lodge has magnificent views from the double patio doors leading out onto the huge decked area. Moorings for your own boat, bring your water vessels and nip across to the pub or stroll to the local, an amazing location for all beautiful things river side! – bookings are now open!
In the marina…
Since taking over the Fencraft marina in summer 2022, our highly skilled team have worked hard renovating, refurbishing and maintaining all of the lodges to a high standard and the whole marina received a fresh new look for 2023! Each holiday lodge has it’s own unique style and has a home from home feel for your self catering holiday.
Our new build River Bay (2 bedroom) was completed in November 2022, River Retreat (3 bedroom) finished her facelift in December 2022 and River Breeze (3 bedroom) and River Rest (2 bedroom) finished their upgrades in Spring 2023. All have quay headed moorings for your own boat and fishing is available from their private gardens (in season – rod license required).
It’s been a fantastic 2023 season and it isn’t over yet, lots of memories being made and with so many guests rebooking, whether the same lodge or trying a different one – we feel so grateful and appreciate every single one. We promise to look after you and wish you the most enjoyable stay at our waters edge holiday lodges on the Norfolk Broads.
